Floyd Building
The Floyd Building is an ongoing seven-story senior affordable housing development in San Jose, California. The project provides 135 units for low-income seniors and is located within the Tamien Station Specific Plan Area. The design features one concrete podium level supporting six residential levels built with our advanced steel modular system. The podium includes community amenities, a lobby, and shared spaces, while the modular upper floors offer efficient apartment layouts centered around courtyards and open areas. Situated in a Mixed-Use Neighborhood zoning district, the project prioritizes sustainability, resilience, and an all-electric design—reflecting San Jose’s commitment to high-quality, affordable, and environmentally responsible housing for seniors.
